It may be well worth your time to take the 21-mile Chuckanut Drive Scenic Byway when you take your road trip from Seattle to Vancouver. It is a dramatic cliff side route that hugs the base of Chuckanut mountain just north of Seattle. The byway begins at the south at exit 231 off I-5 to State Highway 11 (Chuckanut Drive.)The road weaves through evergreen forests along the rocky shoreline of Chuckanut Bay.
